EMPOWERING WOMENS THROUGH HEALTHCARE

Since 2021, Naretu Indomonok Women Organization has been implementing a health education agenda aimed at improving women's reproductive health in Baraka, Esilalei, Losirwa, Mungere & Oltukai villages. Key components include:

  1. Family Planning Education: NIWO Focuses on Providing information about different methods of contraception, how they work, their benefits, and how women can choose options that suit them.

  2. Risks of Early Pregnancy: We Focus on Educating young women and girls about the dangers associated with pregnancy at early ages—risks to both maternal health (such as complications during childbirth) and child health (low birth weight, prematurity).

  3. Importance of Clinic Visits: We have been Emphasizing the value of regular antenatal visits and reproductive health check‐ups to monitor health, detect problems early, and receive proper care.

  4. Contraception Use: We have been Teaching the women how to use contraceptives safely and effectively, dispelling myths and misconceptions, and ensuring women understand proper use, side effects, and how to access supplies.
