In All efforts the Maasai women are in great need of support — especially in areas such as education, health, economic empowerment, business, and access to savings groups.
Naretu Indomonok Women Organization has decided to take action in the villages of Esilalei, Baraka, and Losirwa in Monduli District. The goal is to make a meaningful difference and economically uplift women and girls within the Maasai community.
By investing in Maasai Womens, we invest in a future where tradition and transformation go hand in hand — fostering resilience, equality, and lasting change.
Maasai women are the backbone of their communities, yet they face some of the greatest barriers to opportunity. Deep-rooted cultural practices, limited access to education, healthcare, and financial resources, and restricted decision-making power have held many back from reaching their full potential.
Maasai women carry immense responsibility in their communities, yet cultural traditions often limit their access to essential resources such as education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Many women attempt to start small businesses but lack the support and training needed to succeed. Through Naretu Indomonok Women Organization, we empower them to build sustainable livelihoods, access health services, and provide for their families—ultimately working to eradicate poverty and promote gender equality.
Women are the backbone of our communities. Through Naretu Indomonok Women Organization (NIWO), let’s empower them to uplift their standard of living and unlock their full potential.
