Community Feedback - Impact Stories

Before joining Naretu Indomonok, I never thought I could go back to school or learn how to read and write. Now I can read to my children and help them with homework. I feel more confident and respected in my community.

NADUPOI

Esilalei Village

Thanks to the health trainings, I now understand how to take care of myself during pregnancy and what to do when my children are sick. We also learned about menstrual hygiene, which helped my daughter stay in school. This knowledge has changed our lives.

NASERIAN

Esilalei Kanisani

Neema Lukas Langilala is a 9-year-old girl from Esilalei Village living with paralysis from the waist down due to spina bifida. For a long time, attending school and playing with other children was very difficult, and her family worried about her future. With support from NIWO, Neema gained assistance, confidence, and hope. She now attends school more comfortably, smiles more often, and believes she can achieve her dreams.
